What is the difference between a #brain and a #spinal cord? Is the #spinal cord attached to the #brain? How does the #spinal cord communicate with the #brain?
👉What is the difference between a #brain and a #spinalcord?
Spinal cord is used mostly during reflex actions and #brain is not a part of this. #Spinalcord carries signals from all parts of the body from and to the #brain. #Brain and #spinalcord make up the #centralnervoussystem and is responsible for controlling and coordinating all the body functions.
👉Is the #spinalcord attached to the #brain?
The #brain stem connects the #brain with the #spinal cord. It controls hunger and thirst and some of the most basic body functions, such as body temperature, blood pressure, and breathing. The #brain is protected by the bones of the #skull and by a covering of three thin membranes called #meninges.
👉How does the #spinal cord communicate with the #brain?
The central nervous system (#CNS) is composed of the #brain and the #spinal cord. The #centralnervoussystem communicates with the rest of the body by sending messages from the #brain through the nerves that branch off of your #spine.
